No matter what kind of film fan you are, you’ve probably enjoyed one of Tom Hiddleston’s performances this year, be it as the villainous Loki in Thor or as F. Scott Fitzgerald in Midnight in Paris, he’s certainly done well for himself and next he’ll be seen alongside Rachel Weisz who is ramping up for a big end of 2011 in The Deep Blue Sea, directed by Terence Davies (The House of Mirth).
The film is one of two features Weisz will be seen in at the festival, the other being 360 (more on that shortly), and here she stars as Hester Collyer, a woman leading a privileged life in 1950s London as the beautiful wife of high court judge Sir William Collyer (Simon Russell Beale). To the shock of those around her, she walks out on her marriage to move in with young ex-RAF pilot, Freddie Page (Hiddleston), with whom she has fallen passionately in love.
The images you see here are truly striking, shot by cinematographer Florian Hoffmeister. The film will be making its world premiere at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival this September.

Following on from the gorgeous Kirsten Dunst for Bulgari’s Mon Jasmin Noir advertising campaign where the actress posed with a real live lion for the photos, the luxury Italian jewelry & perfume house have released images of the stunning Rachel Weisz posing against a line for the Jasmin Noir fragrance.
Launched back in 2008 with Kate Moss fronting the advertising campaign, the new images breathes fresh life into one of our favourite fragrances. Weisz brings a sophisticated elegance to the campaign that was photographed by Mert Alas & marcus Piggott in Pasadena, Los Angeles.
Like the Dunst campaign, Weisz was photographed lie next to a lion, with only an oversized bottle of of perfume covering her naked body and various pieces of BVLGARI jewelry adorning her fingers, neck and wrists.

Rachel Weisz is set to be the new face of Bulgari’s Jasmin Noir fragrance in a campaign shot by Mert Atlas and Marcus Piggott.
Rachel Weisz is the new face of Bulgari’s Jasmin Noir fragrance.
The British beauty - who married James Bond star Daniel Craig last week - will represent the brand for a new campaign shot by Mert Atlas and Marcus Piggott, starting in August.
The shoot took place in a boudoir with a “seductive and sophisticated” feel, according to WWD.
Despite now fronting the Italian fashion house - which has product lines including watches, fragrances, accessories and handbags - ‘Constant Gardener’ actress Rachel has previously admitted she knows little about how to make herself look good.
She joked: “I’m a bit of a wash-and-go kind of girl. I don’t know how to blow-dry my hair, so I never do. I have naturally big, frizzy hair, so I normally have at least two or three hairbands on my wrist.
“I don’t mind not having the blow-dried look - I like a little frizz - and it’s back in fashion, thanks God.” As well as her hair, she also doesn’t take care of her nails unless she has a red carpet event to go to. She said: “I’m not really a manicure person either. That’s just not part of my life. “If I have a red-carpet event, then it gets done and I can make it last a few weeks.”

They’ve done their level best to keep their relationship undercover since getting together last year - now apparently James Bond star Daniel Craig, 43, and girlfriend Rachel Weisz, 41, have tied the knot in secret.
Apparently, the pair got married on the quiet in New York State in front of just four people last Wednesday.
The guests were said to be Daniel’s 18-year-old daughter Ella and Rachel’s son Henry, four, plus two family friends who acted as witnesses.
The News Of The World reports a source as saying: ‘Daniel and Rachel insisted on having a small, quiet wedding. They are madly in love and couldn’t wait to be husband and wife - but they wanted minimum fuss.’
The pair were last seen together in London in March, when Daniel was seen taking his leading lady on a shopping spree at the Louis Vuitton store in Mayfair.
However, they have worked hard to keep their relationship out of the limelight since meeting on the set of forthcoming movie The Dream House, in which they play husband and wife.
Although they have been friends for several years, they were first linked in November but at the time strenuously denied they were together.
Before they got together, Rachel had with Black Swan director Darren Aronovsky for nine years and Daniel was engaged to longterm girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell for five years.
However, it became clear that Daniel and Rachel were definitely an item when they were then seen hand-in-hand as they celebrated Christmas in Somerset.
A horror movie, The Dream House opens in cinemas this September.

The Whistleblower, a true-life drama about Kathryn Bolkovac, the Nebraska cop turned United Nations police officer who, while hired by UN contractor DynCorp, alerted authorities to sex trafficking within the force.
Bolkovac was recruited by DynCorp, which the UN hired to set up a police force in Bosnia, in the late 1990s. Over a period of time, Bolkovac witnessed people within the ranks of DynCorp (and by extension the UN police) actively participating in sex trafficking. So, at great personal and professional risk, she spoke up by filing suit against DynCorp in the UK. Don’t worry, this isn’t a tragic Silkwood tale. Bolkovac is alive and well and living in Amsterdam.
This is a rabble-rouser meant to showcase Weisz’s sterner side, which is always enjoyable. To me, Weisz has one of the most perfect careers in Hollywood, able to seamlessly oscillate between smaller movies like this and big-ticket pictures like the Mummy movies or the upcoming Bourne Legacy. Plus she doesn’t seem to have to deal with insane press attention or paparazzi stalking. Basically, hers is the career you want to have if you’re a Hollywood actress, and this Whistleblower seems right in line with her string of mostly good choices. (We’ll have to forgive her for Fred Claus.) Go on with your bad self, Rachel Weisz!
And yeah, sex trafficking is clearly a worrisome global problem and this is an important subject, so you should probably go see this movie.
