Lauren Helen Graham has naturally curly hair, though she straightens it most of the time for acting. Though born in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 16, 1967, she was raised in Virginia only by her father as her mother left home to pursue a singing career. She skipped kindergarden, claimed "that's why I don't know how to share." Her first time on stage was in an elementary school production of "Paul Revere."
For education, Lauren graduated from Langle High School, McLean, VA. She got a Bachelor's Degree in English in New York, and a Master's Degree in Acting in Dallas, Texas. In 1995 she moved from New York to L.A. to pursue her acting career. (And currently resides in West Hollywood.)
Her first break was guest starring in Third Rock from the Sun (see below.) Since then she has appeared in many other television shows, (again, see below) mostly guest-starring though a few permanent roles. This includes a reoccuring role in Caroline in the City, playing the love interest of one of the leads.
Obviously her big break-through was Gilmore Girls, in 2000, which is still running today, currently on Season 5. She brings her sarcastic and witty humour from childhood to the show, playing the lead role Lorelai Gilmore, as seen above.
In 2001, Lauren dated Justin Timberlake, confessing it on a late ni ght show. She refers to Benjamin Bratt (whom she worked with on 'Law and Order') as 'Mr. Superhottie,' and claims the reason she works so much is "I'm nice, and I show up on time."
