Academy Awards® for outstanding film achievements of 2002 will be presented on Sunday, March 23, 2003, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. PST.

Julianne Moore has apparently found an ideal husband candidate in real life: her long-running off-screen costar Bart Freundlich.
The prolific actress--whose film résumé includes, yes, An Ideal Husband, along with Hannibal, Boogie Nights, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and The End of the Affair--rung in the new year with an engagement ring from the indie film writer-director.
Golden Globes
As most of you probably already know, Julianne has been nominated for a Golden Globe award for her role in Far From Heaven. The ceremony airs live on January 19 on NBC. Go Julianne! And while we are at it, I'll eat my hat if Julianne isn't nominated for an Oscar this year. Nominations for the The 75th Annual Academy Awards will be announced on February 11, 2003. (E! Entertainment Television will be live with all the news.) The Oscars are televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. PST on March 23, 2003.
