New TV show for James?
It seemes like James is shopping a TV pilot about "a conflicted hero who attacks with chains and razors." James admits that as a kid, "superpower and the whole proving yourself physically and fighting was very interesting to me." Does his Brainiac intrigue his son, 9? Not at all, says the divorced Marsters. "It's more important I know the rules of Yu-Gi-Oh! and how to throw a Frisbee."
New James DVD
The eagerly-awaited DVD of Words & Music will be officially released on January 17 and features around two hours of James in performance on the London stage.The DVD special includes James performing his own haunting adaptation of Shakespeare's famous tragedy, Macbeth, with American actress Cheryl Puente followed by an acoustic concert with James performing several songs which have yet to be recorded. Ausiello: I've never been called a smack before. Hack, yes, but not smack. Regarding Mr. Marsters, as I reported in Entertainment News on Monday, he landed a starring role in Shadow Puppets, a direct-to-DVD spooker that sounds an awful lot like Saw. It's about four people who wake up in an abandoned asylum without any prior memories or knowledge of their whereabouts. They soon discover that they were subjects of an experiment - an experiment gone haywire. Tony Todd (Candyman) and Jolene Blalock (Enterprise) costar. The shoot is expected to last five weeks, after which Jimmy is expected to do a few more Smallville episodes.

I just wanted to wish all my American fans a very happy Thanksgiving. I know that I have lots to be thankful for and hope you all do too. As we head into the end of the year I want to wish everyone a rockin' holiday season. I know that I'm going to catch up on lots of missed sleep and spend time with the kids and get ready to kick ass again in 2006. Steve's looking ahead at possible convention and concert dates and will keep everyone posted, but for now it's really busy on the acting front. Filming "Shadow Puppets" went really well. I have a good feeling about it. Everyone was great to work with. I wrecked my neck on the last day of filming, but that comes with the territory. Be well.

Kirsten mentions in her spoiler column, that the WB are in talks to get James Marsters signed up as a regular on the hit show Smallville. Here's the quote:

Spike movie rumors
In an interview some time ago Alyson Hannigan, who played to role of Willow Rosenberg on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, said "Last I heard, they were doing a Spike movie". It would be "straight to DVD."
However, the WB stated "We can tell you there is no Buffyverse movie happening right now. At least, not at 20th Century Fox. Joss is very busy." James' manager also stated that the project is "nothing we have on our radar at this moment."
Smallville
James will join the cast of Smallville for multiple episodes. He will portray Milton Fine, also known as Brainiac, a classic DC Comics villain and one of the Man-of-Steel's most formidable enemies.
JamesMarsters.com confirmed the rumors: "James character will make his first appearance in episode 1 which is scheduled to air 9/29/05. The first episode is just a teaser introducing the character. His story line will then be in full force starting episode number 3 (which is scheduled to air 10/13)." That website also stated that we do not have to worry about how James' hair will look like in the series Steve Himber (James' manager) wrote: "Don't worry; James will not be shaving his head nor will he be bleached blonde."
London concerts
Singer Al Britten will be back to support James at one London concert dates. Al is set to be supporting James on October 28.
And also singer and songwriter Evi Vine will be supporting James' concert in London. On October 27 to be exact. Check out her website here.

New concert date!
James has added a second London concert date to his October visit. He will be returning to the Carling Academy in London on Thursday, October 27. For more details you can go to the venue's website. Tickets for the Carling Academy cost £16.50 plus booking fee. Buy your tickets here.

On June 28, James and his former co-star Anthony Steward Head (whom played Rupert Giles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer) were guests at the Rove Live Show on Ten Network Australia. Whedon.info has the video up and you can download it here.

For those of you attending the Toronto Expo in August, we will be using that weekend to celebrate James' birthday (which will have been one week earlier)! Words & Music
The last seats for the stage special at the Mermaid Theatre in London are selling quickly and all top prices tickets are now completely sold out. But you can still buy your tickets, they cost £52.50. Go here to order them now.
The evening will combine James's greatest passions - theatre and music. He will be realising a life-long ambition to perform on the London stage and is currently selecting theatrical pieces specially for the premiere. The second half of the show following the interval will be an acoustic concert of his latest songs.
Civilized Man, in Europe
James' debut solo album, Civilized Man, is now available on mail order for the first time in Europe.The European version offers a different CD photo from the American album. Hey everybody! Just back from the Detroit concert – it was great to connect with everyone there. I think my music sucked a little bit, but I tried to make up for it with a lot of conversation with everyone. It didn’t help that my A string broke mid-concert – but that’s live performance for you. I promise much better for future events. I’m excited about the upcoming cons – the response from you guys has been amazing. These will be the last cons I’ll do for a while – I need to focus on the acting and am working on writing some new material for the next album. Keep rocking!

Wow, it looks like Toronto is going to be one hell of a party! Steve tells me that the tickets are going like crazy – right on! I know I’m going to have to rock the house because it will be a while before I can commit to another convention like this. I’m hoping that the acting will keep us connected – you guys have been so supportive and complimentary, I know I can do it again. I will also keep the music alive. Rehearsals for the London gig are frustrating but good – it should be a cool, different show. Lots going on. See you all soon.

James will attend at the 'Whedonverse and Beyond' convention in Sacramento, California on July 8-10. Other guest will be Nathan Fillion, David Fury, Adam Busch, Tom Lenk and many more. Urbane
Rumors have surfaced on the internet that James would have a role in the movie Urbane. This, however, does not seem to be true. The original article which said James would be a part of the movie, has changed and James' name was removed from the article.

UK Solo Tour
Coventry singer and songwriter Al Britten will be the opening act for James when the Live In Five tour kicks off at Liverpool's Cavern Club next month. James' very first solo tour is now completely sold out. There are no tickets available anymore. James will start his very first solo tour next month, on April 22.
Motorcity Event
MotorCity is a Buffy Convention from June 3rd to 5th 2005. Many stars from the Buffy verse, like Anthony Stewart Head (Giles), Nicholas Brendon (Xander) and The Trio (Adam Busch, Tom Lenk and Danny Strong), will be attending at this convention. Spike movie
A while ago it was rumored that there would be a Spike centered movie. And again, a possible Spike movie is in the news. When a tv guide was asking WB president David Janollari if there perhaps would be a Spike centered movie, Janollari answered: "I’ve never thought of that. We always thought Angel would be the character the audience would want to come back to see. We may give some thought to the Spike movie. That’s interesting." For more info visit our forum.Melbourne

James to appear in Point Pleasant?
In an interview the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer producer Marti Noxon she said that she wanted James to appear on her new supernatural Fox series Point Pleasant. In an article on scifi.com she said "I would really love to bring James Marsters in at some point. We’ve been talking to him." Point Pleasant was first broadcasted on January 19 and is now moving to its regular timeslot Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

New Concert Dates
The two concerts in London, the concert in Liverpool, one of the concerts in Bristol and the concert in Conventry are already sold out. But recently two new dates were announced. James give a concert in Leeds on April 23. And because of the huge succes of his solo tour, an extra concert was organised. This is what he had to say: "At this time of year we often reflect back on the year gone by and give thanks. 2004 was a great year filled with new challenges, excitement and unbelievable support. The cancellation of "Angel" came as quite a surprise, but when one door closes then there must be another waiting to be opened. James Marsters' fans and supporters have expressed this time and time again. Some criticize James doing conventions; however, what they don't realize is that James truly loves connecting with his fans and draws a sense of strength from that support. It also allows him to show his appreciation for all the outpouring of love he receives all throughout the year. The support seems to have transcended beyond the character of 'Spike' and is actually for the person/actor James Marsters. It is our goal to continue the legacy of finding other great roles for James to sink his teeth into. I have every belief that 2005 will provide James with those opportunities. More tour dates announced
In the spring of 2005, James will be giving a solo tour in the UK. So far three gigs had already been announced: one in Liverpool, one in Conventry and one in London. There are now two new gigs announced. James will be giving a concert in Bristol on Wednesday April 27. On Saturday April 30, James will end his tour in the St James's Church in London. From what he can tell at this point, he thinks it will be a good film. Now he is back in the recording studio working on the new album! Solo tour announced
James is heading over to the UK for his first solo tour. The gigs will be given in April. Two gigs have already been announced. On Friday, April 22 2005, he will be launching the tour at Liverpool's famous Cavern Club. The other gig is set on April 29, 2005 in London's Carling Academy, Islington. This Sunday the episode with James will air on the WB. I've found the trailer in which James Marsters also stars on somedreams.com. I have made seven new screencaps of the trailer, which can be found in the picture gallery. The plot of the episode has also been released (contains SPOILERS): Sam is disheartened to learn that his deadbeat dad (yea that's James Marsters) has spent his college fund on a hair-brained scheme to start a microbrewery. Meanwhile, when grandpa Carver's ex-girlfriend returns to town, David and Will learn that she's intending on selling her shares of the Mountain to Colin Dowling. New Movie..?
Steve Himber wrote on jamesmarsters.com: 'In the meantime, James is off for the next 4 weeks working on a film.' Nothing more, nothing less. So I don't know yet which film he is talking about. The rumors go, that James is working on a Spike movie. I've just emailed Mr. Himber, Jamess manager. The organisors want to thank everyone for making the Halloween convention such a big succes. In the last update I told you that James Marsters and David Boreanaz would appear in the UK morning show; GMTV, however they weren't on. The Moutain
The episode in which James appears already seems to be a succes. Thousands of loyal Angel fans had sworn they'd never watch any program on the WB again, because of the cancellation of their favourite show; Angel. But they all will break their promise to watch James star in the Mountain. However it isn't sure on which date this certain episode will air. The WB posted this message on their site. Which says that the episode with James will be airing on November 7th instead of the 3rd. I'm not completely sure though, so keep a close look at this show!Halloween Convention

Some time ago James did the recording of book 3 of the Dresden Files, Grave Peril for Buzzy Multimedia. The book is written by Jim Butcher. It will be at least 9 CDs since it is a longer book than the first 2, so the price will be more. But there will also be little bonus item to the purchase to make it even more worth it. James Marsters will be shooting an episode of the new WB series “The Mountain” later this month. He will play the character of ‘Ted Tunney’ a handsome, charismatic, outgoing former rock and roller. He is a likeable guy who famous for wasting his occasional sober energy on get rich quick schemes. He is the kind of lovable fool who inspires both frustration and compassion. On Tv Guide.com they wrote: Here’s something I never thought I’d write: You have to watch The Mountain! Actually, just the November 3rd episode. That’s when Buffy/Angel grad James Marsters guest-stars as the father of the Penn Badgley character. According to a WB rep, there’s "a chance" Marsters could recur - which would mean you’d have to watch more than one episode of The Mountain. Scary but true.
That is if Tru Calling doesn't move to the WB. The rumours are getting louder that Tru (played by Eliza Dushku, 'Faith' from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) might move to the WB replacing the Mountain. Will this mean, that we will not see the guest appearance of James in Mountain? We don't no yet, but as soon as we do, we'll post it here.

James has done a new photoshooting. "He has been busy in the photo studio to arrange an extra-special treat for Halloween 2004. James booked a photo session date in Los Angeles this week and was back in front of the camera for some new shots of his post-Buffy look. The famous peroxide locks have now been replaced by a cool, modern cut and his hair is now back to its original brown after years of being dyed blond to play British punk vampire Spike. I have received a lot of e-mails expressing many opinions about recent conventions that James has been a part of. I am going to address these once and only once to bring some clarity and truth to the table – please do not e-mail me to either apologize or debate, as neither is necessary. First, no one is ever forced to attend a convention – fans choose to attend all on their own. Hopefully, it should be a fun experience where you get to see friends and have a chance to meet the talent (although acknowledged often times too briefly). Second, there will always be people who choose to see the glass as half empty and are very negative. It is odd to me that these people continue to come to the conventions but seemingly have a miserable time and want everyone else to also– think about it. Third, rumors and supposed conversations are just that and unless you hear or see something with your own eyes and ears why believe it – especially when it is negative and hurtful.
SO – let’s touch on some of the nastier rumors:
1. James is very proud and excited about the event we are producing in London. It should prove to be a fun, accessible, and unique convention for the fans that will be joining us. He has never bad mouthed the event or suggested to anyone not to come and have a great time with everyone. Furthermore, there are no other “supposed” events for him in the UK at a later time.
2. Julie Caitlin Brown – James and I are still very much working with Julie and have always appreciated all of her support.
3. Future conventions – yes, there will be future conventions in the United States. Whether James and I produce them or whether James attends as a guest shouldn’t concern the fans. All that should concern the fans is whether or not they have a great time and are treated with respect. Perhaps if James and I do produce any future conventions then you the fans may be guaranteed to be treated with the utmost respect.James has always enjoyed attending the conventions and showing his appreciation to the fans who have helped make his career so successful so far. He hopes to be able to continue to be available to attend future conventions; however, if the negativity out weighs the enjoyment then it may just make it impossible to continue. My suggestion would be to only worry about your individual experience and not to get caught up in the rumor mill. I say all of this with the utmost respect and appreciation for everything the fans have done and look forward to the next time we can all be together in the spirit of support and love.

Replacement for stolen Spacey Award

James' hair sold
A lock of bleached blonde hair with speckles of his natural brunette, which he shaved off for charity, has been sold on Ebay. This lock was donated by James specifically to Angel’s Food Drive for our charity auction. It was sent to them via James Marster’s manager Steve Himber. Only two days ago it has been sold for $3040.00!! To the winning bidder, good luck to you and your piece of James-hair. ;-).

Spike's clothes for sale
Yea that's right, once again Spike's outfit is being sold on Ebay. The current highest bid for the pair of black wool pants, black shirt and black leather coat is $2.500,00. If you want to place a higher bid you can take your time because there are still four days left in which you can place a bid.
James' Spacey Award stolen!
On Ebay someone offered a signed photo by James and his Spacey Award which he had won this year for 'Fave Male TV Character'. This person claimed to have found the award in the trash.
However a day later James' manager Steve Himber wrote that this award had been stolen from James' trailer. Here is the complete message: "Many fans have written to let us know that an award given to James is being auctioned on E-Bay. James and his business associates are very upset to learn that a valued and much appreciated award was taken from his personal trailer without his knowledge and is now being offered on E-Bay. Please do not help support people who are profiting from unscrupulous acts. Thank you. - Steve Himber"
The seller has now retracted the sale from e-bay.
Buffy/Angel movies still possible
In an interview Joss Whedon (creator of both Buffy and Angel) said: "We haven’t really heard anything, obviously, there’s been a regime change at The WB. The fans are interested. I’m interested. I don’t think either Sarah Michelle Gellar or David Boreanaz would want to do it. But I think there’s about 10 other characters I could name who would be totally worthy of movies. And I’m just waiting for somebody to say yea or nay." Yea, what about a Spike movie, Joss?

Four Buffy/Angel TV Movies Planned?
On Rove Live, James confirmed that he's committed to a Buffyverse project. James revealed he had been approached by Joss Whedon to star in at least one of four television movies set in the Buffyverse.Each film will focus on one particular character, and that either all four would be made or none at all. As far as James was aware, only he has comitted to the project so far.
The Halloween Convention
As you guys propbably already know is that James is gonna attend at a convention on the October 30 and 31 in London. He'll attend there together with David Boreanaz (Angel) and guest stars Juliet Landau (Drusilla) and Luke Perry, who starred in the original 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' movie as Buffy's first love.
At this convention there'll be photoshoots with he actors, Q&A sessions and autographing sessions. But at on Saturday James Marsters will also give an acoustic performance and David Boreanaz will read a ghost story, written by thriller writer Ann Evans. E! Online's 'What Thrilled You-and Killed You-on the Tube This Year?'
The results of the 2004 Tater Tops Awards are in! The Spike vs. Angel fight scene in 'Destiny' ended up on the sevcond place for the Best Fight scene with 31.21% of the votes. The biggest shocker this year was the WB cancelling Angel according to 45.70% of the voters, which ended up on the first place. James Marsters ended up on the first place in the list of 'Star you'll miss the most', he won with 30.96% of the votes. James also seemed to be everyone's 'Favorite Drama King' because he also ended on the first place in that list, he won with 35.33% of the votes.

Brilliantly James is back online!
Finally Brilliantly James has returned to the net again, thanks to Gertie from fan-sites.org. Our site has been down for exactly 5 weeks. We haven't received any information involving this major downtime from our previous host. And then we discovered fan-sites.org. Karin and I are really please to be hosted at Fan-Sites.org. June 15No more Ghost of the Robot!!
Yea, you've read that right. I am schocked to tell you this but James has ended Ghost of the Robot. Here's his personal message:
To all fans of the band Ghost of the Robot,After two great years of music making and touring I have decided to dissolve the band Ghost of the Robot. This was not an easy decision to make but one that was thought out thoroughly with consideration to you, the amazing fans and my amazing band mates. There are no bad feelings or creative differences that lead to this decision. I have always given 100% of myself to my craft and I felt that the band and the fans would suffer now that I will be devoting all my time to new film and television projects since "Buffy" and "Angel" are no longer in production. Please know how much I have appreciated everyone’s support of me and of the band. I hope that you will continue to support me in my future film and television projects. This decision will not affect me participating in or attending any conventions. I love the feedback I get from my fans and look forward the next time I see you.

It's not sure if the bands second album, which was said to be released in September, will still be released. But it's for sure that the band won't give any concerts anymore, since James has also cancelled the Ghost of the Robot Concert at Vulkon SlayerCon Oakland. Here is James's personal message to all those whom were supposed to go to that concert:
Dear Fans of Vulkon SlayerCon Oakland:I wanted to send a special message to my fans who will be attending the SlayerCon in Oakland, California, August 28-29. Ghost of the Robot will not be appearing at this event, however, I will be there for BOTH days to take photos with you, sign autographs and do two Q&A’s. I appreciate your understanding about the changes with the band and look forward to seeing you all in Oakland.

Though we were shocked when we first read this at James'official site, Karin and I still want to thank all the band members ; James Marsters, Aaron Anderson, Charlie DeMars, Kevin McPherson, Steven Sellers and Sean Hutchinson for all the wonderful music they have brought to us. We really loved your concerts and music. Thanks a lot guys! And ofcourse we will continue to support James! We also wish the other band mates good luck in whatever the futur brings them.
The Macbeth project
But there's also good news; A dream comes true for James: He will star in the silver screen adaptation of William Shakespeares 'Macbeth' and play the ambidextrous king of Scotland himself. In the last update we had already told you that James got 50 million dollars for this project. This is the budget for the movie. We also know that James will write the script and play the leading role. He will also cast all the other actors for this project. The movie is ment to release in about three years in the cinema's.
Spike might not be back
In the last update we told you that Amy Acker, Tom Lenk and James Marsters has signed on to do whatever lies ahead for Angel. This doesn't seems to be true since there is nothing about this all in the latest issue of Angel magazine. The only truth is that James, Amy and Tom all say in their interviews that they would all be interested in continuing their characters, but that is all. There is nothing officially announced about future plans in that issue, which came out in April.
Bid on James' hair
This is one of the 10 hair locks auctioned off by James Marsters to benefit the Elizabeth Glasier Pediatric Aids Foundation. James had his hair shaved on national television and the top 10 bidders won a lock of his hair, along with a letter from James' manager. One fan donated her lock of hair to Angel's Food Drive and now it's for sale on Ebay! The current bid is $102,50. But no worries you still have the time untill June the 24th.
Happy Birthday project
James' birthday is on the 20 of August, that's only two months left from now. So Karin and I had the great idea to organise something special. We're still thinking about what are going to do exactly. But it will be posted here soon.
June 7Spike will be back
In the latest issue of Angel magazine it has been confirmed that James Marsters, Amy Acker and Tom Lenk have signed on to do whatever lies ahead for Angel. So there might be a sixth season, a tv movie or a bigscreen movie.
At the Moonlight Rising convention James also metioned that he would bleach his hair one more time for "perhaps a Spike movie".An Emmy for James?
TVguide has created a list of the actors they believe should be nominated for an Emmy, and James was on that list. They said: "When is somebody going to give this snarky, scampy vamp his own spinoff? Effortlessly stealing scene after scene with a surly punk attitude and effortless sex appeal, Marsters sinks his teeth into the role of an afterlife-time."
James won two awards!
A while ago I've asked you to vote for James in the Syfy Portal Awards. He was nominated for both his roles in Buffy and in Angel. But he actually won for Best Supporting Actor, for his role in Buffy. To see the whole list of winners, go here.

Fifty million dollars for James..
James just got the financing for his Macbeth project a couple of days ago! Fifty million dollars! He mentioned this at the Moonlightrising convention. He's likely to be involved with this project for about three years. He's writing the script for it now.

At the gig in Amsterdam James had a nicotine patch on his right forearm. He's trying to stop smoking. Go James!! At the concert, he had been eating/licking lollipops the whole time.Thank you, part one.

Ghost Of The Robot would like to say a big thank you to their European fans for making their recent tour such an overwhelming success. They are now returning to the States to continue work on their forthcoming album, Gods Of The Radio, which should be out later this year. James says: "We've got some great memories of the tour. The audiences were amazing and really got into the music. We had a great time and we're made to feel welcome everywhere we went. We didn't want it to end." -Neither did we James, neither did we.

Yes, I have finally uploaded some more pictures to the galleries. I've added 50 screencaps of James on the Sharon Osbourne show which can be found in the Appearances gallery. May 18And again.. We're back!
That's right Karin and me are back from Paris since Friday night. We had a good time, bought lots of magazines with James posters in them. For the french fans, there's one poster of James in the Serial Fan, one in Séries, one in the Séries Ma nia and this month there's also a Spike magazine for sale. It has been put together by the Spirit magazine and it has 4 mini and 4 maxi posters in it. So if you live in France, go and buy these magazines right now!

A Spike movie?
Two days ago at May the 8th, there was a so called 'An Audience with James Marsters' in Berlin. The lucky fans probably had a great time. One fan has written a fanreport. She mentioned that James said: "I don’t believe your efforts were senseless. We are discussing a new Spike TV movie project." He was referring to a Spike-centered movie, not one for the Angel series. So maybe we'll get to see Spike back on television, after Angel stops. To read the whole report go here.

Yup that's right, your beloved webmistress are back from our trip to London, where we've seen Ghost of the Robot in concert. We've taken hundred trains to get to the Carling Islington Academy, we have been standing on our feet for over 9 hours, haven't been to the toilet for more then 10 hours, but it has all been worth it, the concert was great, the band was great and of course James was great! He's such a nice, loving, fabulous, wonderful and energetic person. We've had a great time. I (Mara) have made over 50 photo's of the gig. Yesterday James shaved off his hair in the The Ryan Seacrest Show. He did this for the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation! Fans made donations, to support this foundation, and the top ten bidders will receive some of James's hair. James said they got $25,000 for charity. One person even donated $5000!! Way to goo people! James is nominated twice for Best Supporting Actor. Once for his role in Angel and once for his role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy the Vampire Slayer led all nominees this year with nine nods. James is UK's favorite to play Romeo
James Marsters and Keira Knightley have topped the poll in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s search for the nation’s ideal pairing of Romeo and Juliet. The online poll announced on the eve of Shakespeare’s Birthday (23rd April), asked visitors to the RSC website who they would ideally like to see play Shakespeare’s most famous lovers.
James said: "I’m flattered and excited that people would think of me for the role of Romeo. I think that the themes of violence and social disintegration are as important today as they were in Shakespeare’s day." Read the whole article here.James won three awards

The first Angel TV Movie may hit in September
According to this article, the WB is working on a new stand-alone telemovie, ANGEL, to air in September. The first two-hour pic is going to essentially launch the series as a sequence of films - different villain, different storyline, each one.The WB’s ’End of Angel’ Poster

Hairless James!
As we've said before, James will be appearing on the American TV show 'The Ryan Seacrest Show' on Tuesday, April 27, from 12 noon to 1 pm (US Pacific time). James will be shaving off his famous platinum blonde locks to help raise money and awareness for the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation!
The top 10 donors will receive a personalized autographed photo along with a lock of James' hair. To make a donation go to: pedaids.org and make an on-line donation no later than noon on Monday, April 26. Be sure to mark your donation in honor of James Marsters. Also, for those fans who can come to the taping, you can do so. James will be making an appearance after the show in the courtyard sporting his new look!.
New EP for Ghost of the Robot
The band is marking their return to Europe with an EP special. It's called 'It's nothing and features five previously unrecorded tracks including Runaway, Pre-War, This Town, She Likes Rap Grooves and the title track. The EP will be available in time for the band's European dates in May and will be on sale during the group's concerts in Coventry, London, Berlin and Amsterdam.Ghost of the Robot as guest DJ's
The band will be appearing as guest DJs on live radio station FCUK on Monday, May 3. The studio is based in the front store windows of FCUK in Regent Street in London and all the band will be taking part in the broadcast. James has won the award for Favourite TV character male at the 2nd Annual Spacy Award! James thanks everyone who voted for him, and those who reach back to him. Angel has also won for best series.

No sixth season for Angel
Yup, things weren't quite sure yet, but there won't be a sixth season for Angel. James said in n interview with E! Online: "It’s over. And we’ve known for a while. It was a shock. I’ve never in my wildest dreams thought they would do that. But it’s their game, their football, and it seems they want to pass it to someone else. It may not have saved the show," he explained, "but what it does for the entire cast and crew is give us a little pop as we go out. Everyone takes notice that we connected well enough with the audience to give them that passion.. And I have to tell you, it feels so good. After all these years of, frankly, battling time and money and always having to give up what you were planning to do and getting frustrated, at the end of it, to see everyone really going out of their way to try and save it, it just feels really, really good. So, big warm vampire fuzzies over here. It really took the sting out of getting canceled."
Angel/Buffy film?
But there's also some good news: according to E! Online today there’s an Angel/Buffy movie coming! Kristin of E! says: "I heard that the Powers That Be at the WB have approached Joss Whedon about doing at least a movie-of-the-week or two, possibly as many as six, next season, thanks in large part to the folks at Save Angel.
"I think a Buffy movie is more likely to happen now," James said, "and they may be given better budgets, seeing this kind of interest, because there’s a feeling that there’s a guaranteed audience. So, the effort that I’ve seen, it is not in vain."

A Venetian Heat Producer, Jon Renhard, had confirmed that the project has been started again after being having been canceled. Sean Bean will not be part of the cast anymore. There is no information about Patrick Dempsey on the cast. But the most important message : James is still in! Hopefully the film will make it into the cinema's.

James is selling his Acoustic/Electric Guitar on Ebay! This Guitar has been signed by James himself, and the other members of Ghost of the Robot, Charlie De Mars, Steve Sellers, Kevin Mc Pherson and Aaron Anderson. The Guitar is about 2 years old and has rarely been played. However this guitar was used to record Tracks on the Album Mad Brilliant. And it is still in fine shape. So what are you waiting for? I found an interview with James where he talks about Buffy, and Spike returning to Buffy's spin off show Angel. James: "I really hope that Spike and Angel don't get along at all." Also he talks about a new movie where he's going to play in. It's called "Italian Heat". Other actors who will be staring in this film are Derek Jacobi and Sean Bean. The shooting with start in September. James about his role: "I was all excited about it and I went to my manager and said, 'Do I have to kiss a guy?' And he's like, 'Oh, yeah.' And I was like, 'Argggh!' And then I read the script and there was so much more than kissing that I froze up for a while and I just put the script away and I started making my own personal connection to it and so I feel like I can play that role."
