James will be having his only US concention in L.A. this September.

Watch out for details of a not-to-be-missed US event with James Marsters. "James Marsters And Friends" offers a touch of romance, excitement and lots and lots of surprises. It will also be James's only US convention this year.
The weekend special is being held in Los Angeles in September and is presented by Himber Entertainment and JMLive. Tickets will be offered through http://www.jamesmarsters.com and purchases will be paid through PayPal or American Express Traveller's checks.
If you do not yet have a PayPal account you can get one at http://www.paypal.com. Please note that it can sometimes take up to a month to get your account verified, so we'd recommend registering as soon as possible.

Ausiello: Yes, they'll both pop up in the season finale - but they won't be who we think they are. And here's another finale superscoop: Lois and another major character will end up on an airplane that's locked in autopilot - and there's only one person who knows where it's headed. (Hint: He looks like a platinum-topped vampire we once knew and loved.)

From what I've read, you did a number of things in your theater days that were more behind-the-scenes. What were some of those jobs?
When you produce non-profit theater you do everything behind-the-scenes. You build and design props, design and build costumes and sets, design and run lighting systems, take tickets, as well as direct, produce and act. The reason is that you can’t afford to pay very much money to anyone and my business partner and I didn’t want to share power so we did it all ourselves. It was the hardest thing I’ve done and maybe the best.Which of your recorded songs came out the closest to what you actually heard in your head when you were writing it?
The best one was the GOTR version of “Over Now” which was not recorded but performed live on tour. It had a lopping lead guitar by Charlie DeMars and a hesitant base line by Kevin McPherson. It was exactly the haunting quality I hoped for. People said they could hear the ocean, which is what I wanted.Is it difficult for an actor to watch a film or a play and get lost in the story? Or do you find yourself analyzing it as you watch?
I think everybody - actors, directors, prop masters - want to get lost in a movie. So if it’s good, we do. We’re like little kids waiting for a good story. If the story is good enough, we’ll definitely go.What's the latest on your new CD? Is it still in the works or is it on the back burner while you focus on acting?
I am still writing songs. I am infecting myself with the blues. I’ve got three new blues songs I’m working on, but right now I am trying to find work in the rough tempest of LA’s pilot season. The waves are high and my boat is small but I am rowing like mad. If nothing else, my arms are getting stronger!What storylines would you have expected/enjoyed for Spike if there had been a Season 6 of Angel?
I would have liked to have just continued with the themes started in Season 5, particularly in the “Destiny” and “The Girl in Question” episodes. Spike and Angel are on similar journeys, having been ruthless killers and trying to become men. It’s both funny and interesting to see how they approach their redemption. In this way, Spike would have been a good doppelganger for Angel.

This Tuesday, Smallville!
James will be on Smallville next Tuesday. Don't miss it. Here is a little summery of what will happen: Smallville (7 p.m. on 62): Professor Fine (guest star James Marsters) tells Clark (Tom Welling) that the strange terminal illness that's stricken Martha (Annette O'Toole) is Jor-El's doing and he must destroy the Fortress of Solitude to save her. When they get there, Clark is the one whose life is in danger.

Joss about Spike movie
There is still hope for a Spike movie, or so it seemes. Joss Whedon made this comment about the issue: We are trying to put together a Spike movie - I don't know if it's financially feasible. That's what I've been working towards for the past several months, and I should know fairly soon whether or not something's going to happen with that.

Renewed BJ
Long time no updates from me, but I'm back. I'm terribly sorry for not having updated for such a long time but I've been incredibly busy with my study. What can I say? School = evil.
But enough of that. Like Karin said in the previous update, we're going to give BJ a complete new look, with updated information, media and much more. We're trying to get all of this done as soon as possible. Expect it to be done in a couple of weeks.

Ausiello: "He'll return in Episode 16, which will be our first episode back in April," reveals Al Gough in an interview I cribbed from my colleague, Matt Webb Mitovich. "And he will then appear in, I believe, two more episodes after that, leading up to the season finale." Speaking of the finale, might we catch a glimpse of Zod? "That's a big part of Brainiac's plan, so you're definitely going to see that in the season finale."

A sweet message from James for the fans:
Hello, I'm well rested from the holidays and have been hitting the gym like a mad man. I have to be in shape for pilot season. I'm wrapping up the last of my episodes for "Smallville" and I'm feeling good about 2006. Thank you to everyone for all your cards and gifts. I don't get a chance to thank you individually but I want you to know that I get them all and really appreciate it. Steve tells me that you want to know about the next US concerts or conventions and I just don't know yet. I'm don't want to set any dates and then have to cancel them because of work. Steve will keep everyone posted if we can do anything. I'll also try to have them post messages like this more often. Rock on!

Spike movie
The WB wants to air the Spike movie, if Joss Whedon decides to make one. The speculation still continues as to whether or not a Spike movie will be made! Here's what they had to say about it:

The Skinny: Well, Joss Whedon has said he would like to do a Spike made for TV movie spin-off from his Buffy The Vampire Slayer/Angel series and today the WB press tour, Entertainment President David Janollari revealed that they would like to see a Spike movie too.
"We would love to do a SPIKE movie with Joss Whedon," says Janollari. "Joss Whedon is fast becoming a big-feature filmmaker. He's currently working on an adaptation of Wonder Woman for Warner Bros. He's simply just not been available to us. But he knows and you guys all know, the door is open any time that he wants to do that -- for us to do that movie. We're thankful that James Marsters is on Smalville this year, keeping him alive on our network."

Joss Whedon confirms Spike movie
Joss Whedon has confirmed there will be a Spike movie in the future. His exact words were: It's 99% likely that a new series of "Buffy" and "Angel" TV movies of the week will be happening soon. Spike will be the kick-off point followed by, hopefully, one with Illyria (sp), and Willow - depending on 'everyone's schedules, naturally'.
There is still hope!
