x x x x x matthew; Matt was born in Crowheart, Wyoming, on July 14, 1966 and lived on the family ranch. His parents raised longhorn and cattle and grew barley. Matthew attended Deerfield Academy in Mass. in hopes of making it to Wall Street as an economics major. However, he received a football scholarship to Columbia University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. Matthew was bitten by the acting bug after a girlfriend's mother was a modeling agent who encouraged him to try some modeling, leading to tv commercials and eventually his acting career.
