Past Layouts

A quick note - 'versions' on this site mean layout. If it says, 'version 3.1 for example, it is the third layout/concept for page and the '.1' means it is the first time I had to alter it. If it says version '1.2', for example again, it was the first layout and has been altered twice after being posted. Confused? Sorry.

Layout 9 :: May/June 2005 - Sept 7 2005
Sub title :: Still on the Grind :: Lou

I adored this layout as did many other people. i think we liked it so much I decided to keep it up way, way too long. It was the first layout with the new concept of links on the side and iframes. Much easier than before. :: 1

Layout 8 :: April 1st 2005 - May 1st 2005
Sub title :: Still Grindin / Clownin

Not my favorite layout in the least. It was bright - whoo for spring. But something about it was too boxy and simple. I hate simple. I love complex. The green was fine, but it was blinding. Plus Sweet Lou was missing. !!! How could I do that?!?! Bad me. :: 1

Layout 7 :: March 01 2005 - April 01 2005
Sub title :: March On

The military-ish layout. Most complex and most brown. Ugh. Brown. Pfft. Well this site introduced the character of the month and optional content pages. This made it easier to add content but only have to change one page and not 50. Concept is cool, but the colors were nasty. It was just a post Valentine's Day layout. Something that screamed 'love bites' and 'hurry up spring'. :: 1

Layout 5 :: January 31st 2005 - current
Sub title :: It's All up in the Air

This is the current layout. It's pretty warm and pretty, well pink. It's meant for only valentine's day but i thought it was worth posting ealrty fo sake of work time. I'm really sorry about that but the red was too bold. It made my eyes bleed. This layout came with a new style. Although content was still on the sides, there was alittle bit more room for additions inside the pages. Not one of my favorites, but I do believe that it is a job well done.

Layout 4 :: December 1st 2004- January 1st 2005
Sub title :: Happy Holidays from the Grind crew to you and yours

This was the lovely Christmas layout for the site. It was very pastel. This layout was made twice because some borwsers did not support the frames the first version was built around. Luckily, the second version (on the right) was a bit darker and even had candy canes!

Layout 3 :: August 6 2004- November 30th 2004 / January 1st-January 30st 2005
Sub title :: Blue Light Spotlight

MY FAVORITE LAYOUT! I hated to see it go. Nothing special at all. At first the blue was something I'd rather leave, but after the maroon I found it quite refreshing. I consider it a back to school-spotlight on summer/greatest hits layout. The simplicity makes me warm inside, but it was rahter hard to update at times.

Layout 2 :: June 7 2004 - August 6 2004
Sub title :: Dance Hall Daze

I loved this layout with all my heart. Apart from the odd maroon tone, it was very eye appealing to most. I think it was the closest to the 'standard' of webpages that I'd get. The only things I saw wrong with it were that fact that the content was all on the side (hard to change) and the update blog looked wrong for some reason.

Layout 1 :: May 5 2004 - June 6 2004

This was the first working layout for the site. It was really boring because of all the white. It was really hard for me to adapt to Paint Shop Pro after working with Photoshop for so long. This layout was dubbed as the fanlisting site as well, but for some reason I never reported to thefanlistings.org and lost my slot.
