Character Biographies

Eric Rivers - The leading character of the movie that persuades everyone to do things with guilt trips more or less. He's a fresh high school graduate for the movie and lives with his dad and his stepmom. There isn't much of anything said about his real mom though. His dad owns Rivers Hardware and he chooses to chase his dream of skating pro than working in his dad's shop for the summer.

Dustin Knight - The panicky best friend of Eric. He too has just graduated high school, but unlike Eric, actually has some sort of plan. Dustin's plan is to do the working through the summer thing and going to college in the fall. Sadly for Dustin, Eric's goals do not exactly mesh with Dustin's plans or point of income. Nothing is known about his parents or if there are any other siblings.

Matt Jenson - Where do I start? Matt lives in Eric's garage. We are left to assume that he's been there ever since his parents abandoned him to go to clown college or camp. It isn't until late in the movie you realize he has a sister. Matt starts the movie with a cast on his arm and he explains that he messed it up skating. Other than that he's not slick with the ladies and we are to assume that he didn't bathe. Rock on.

Sweet Lou Singer - Lou supplies the boys with some wheels as he joins the super duper team. We doin't know about his family or other friends but we do know that he sis good with the ladies and maybe graduated 5-6 years before Eric and Dustin. He falls for Matt's sister late in the film and from what we know he joins the clown college to be with her. No more Mr. Playa-playa.
