Why can’t I use my own commission codes on my site?
Running a free hosting company is a very costly business. The compensation I receive to pay the server bills are the ads that are placed on your sites. This includes commissioned links like Amazon.com, AllPosters.com and eBay.com. If you post your own commissioned links, it directly takes away form the possible revenue that could have been earned for Fan-Sites.org. Since our service is free, I ask that you do not take away any potential sale that could be generated.

Why can’t I use a shortcut URL?
Promotional Reasons: One of the ways the Network is promoted to other sites and Webmasters is through the URL.
Commission Reasons: Most re-direct URL’s use some type of pop-up promotional service which has the potential to take away from Fan-Sites.org possible commissioned earnings.
Affiliation Reasons: Fan-Sites.org is NOT affiliated with any current redirection services and use of the service could be misconstrued as being such.
Search Engine Indexing Reasons: Search engine crawlers will not accurately spider a site with a redirect URL, meaning a lower search engine ranking for your site and for Fan-Sites.org.

You deleted my site without telling me! What’s up with that?
As stated in the rules and regulations, no explanation needs to be given if a violation is found. In 90% of cases, I make an honest effort to contact Webmasters and give them a chance to fix their site before deleting it. Please remember: There are over 600 of you and only one of me. Please be responsible for yourself and your content to make both our lives easier.

Free hosting at The Fan Sites Network is for experienced Webmasters only. You will need to have a current site ready as an example before being accepted.
